something that is funny and that most people don't seem to know is that in virtually every european country (UK, Norway, France, Spain, Germany, Italy and many more) the state has automatic petroleum rights so if you strike oil on your own land you don't get anything lmao not that finding oil should be a priority right now considering the whole climate thing but yeah this is how you kill the dreams of your friends saying shit like "can you imagine if i somehow find oil on my own land?" yea, i can imagine you getting nothing
