my completely baseless hot take based on nothing but thin air is that due to the current political tensions and just because i know how stuff usually goes in my back yard if huawei manages to get the price of these down/starts selling them at a loss some EU countries are going to partially shift to these/similar systems mostly as posturing after what's going on with the US lately and if that happens then we are going to see yet more polarization and idk this is kinda based on nothing but also like exactly what i think is going to happen (we are still regularly buying huawei stuff for telecom networks after all)
