these past 6 months have been kinda weird all around because all of the polarization that's been happening in north america has somehow led to a point where most of the people that i know irl here in the EU (of which a big percent used to be against the very idea of EU and some of who even straight up wanted to have their own brexit) are now extremely pro-EU almost as a direct answer to it i have genuinely never in my life seen so many people actually defending the EU as lately, it's so interesting
